prerequisites
- The
catalog prerequisites are listed as INEL 4307 (datacomm),
ICOM5007 (operating systems) or permission of instructor. In
general, I give permission whenever you have some comparable background,
even not very documentable, such as doing your own installation or
administration of your PC, or a good math background, or work
experience, or good grades. The situations I am trying to avoid
are those in which you would likely drop the course and lose time and
tuition or be better off taking it the next year. If you need this

Thursday: 8:00-10:30 am, 5:25 – 5:55 pm,
Also I am often available in the universal hour
Tuesday and Thursday 10:40 am – 12:55 pm
(for in-office consultation I suggest calling on X3652 or emailing and will
normally see you any time I am in the office). Office hours during
class breaks are normally in S-203 (afternoon) rather than my office.
