Limited proficiency.
• Entrusted to certify patches, upgrades, and new solutions on both CS software and hardware.
• Developed new standards documentation and processes that meet enterprise quality.
• Successfully deployed newer version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux on existing IBM Power Servers,
substantially prolonging their lifespan and reducing unwanted decommissioning.
Web-based Administrative Dashboard development using Twitter Bootstrap, Ruby on Rails, and
PostgreSQL as frontend, framework, and backend respectively. Experience consisted on two
major modules:
• Periodic Tasks Manager - Development of the task management system to be used by the
company's employees, as well as serving as the report system for their clients.
• Payroll Manager - Development of the payroll management system to keep track of each of the
company's employees, as well as tracking down project budgets and performance.
• Entrusted to solve lack of user interaction capabilities in several automation scripts for code
building and reliability testing in the Continuous Integration project.
• Performed thorough research on the performance impact of a vast variety of software updates,
including code stability and requirements coverage, voice testing, and issue tracking.
• Optimized implementations of Ruby scripts in order to obtain straightforward, user friendly,
and fully automated scripts, while improving user interaction and source code portability by
83%.
• Design and development of sparse matrix algorithms targeted towards Computational
Electromagnetics applied to Conformal Antennas using NVidia’s CUDA OpenCL.
• Currently developing Computational Electromagnetics software based on the cuSPARSE
library of NVidia’s CUDA Parallel Computing language. Expected completion by the end of
semester.
• Involve fellow Computer Engineering and Sciences members with emerging companies and
technologies, as well as supervising and improving networking between members.
• Served as an usher to escort and keep students in an orderly manner in the conferences given
by various professors to promote engineering studies among high school students.
