A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent is required for admission admission. Applications from science and other engineering disciplines are also welcome and admitted students usually are given a conditional admission status that requires them to take undergraduate courses to cover deficiencies in their background. Applicants must have a minimum general and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 (those with a GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 may be considered at the discretion of the ECE Graduate Admissions Committee). Applicants must have a basic knowledge of both Spanish and English.
