About Us
Founded in 1957, the Society of Electrical Engineers of Puerto Rico, is a professional technical non-profit association, registered under Puerto Rico's laws, and created to advocate for professional practice of genuine democratic spirit which encourages the free exchange of ideas. SIEPR is dedicated to the development and improvement of the theory and practice of Electrical Engineering in its various branches for the benefit of its members and the Puerto Rican community.

Purpose & Objectives
The Society of Electrical Engineers of Puerto Rico promotes the development of science and electrical engineering and its implementation for the benefit of our country, the improvement of our profession and the welfare of its members.

Benefits
SIEPR offers our members seminars and conferences from various companies in Puerto Rico, as well as workshops where experts will help you make good interviews and resumes preparing you for the critical moment of your job search.

This is the only native Puerto Rican society.

The student and professional chapter are in close communication, so that meetings (with professional chapter) can be established more easily.
