The retreat accomplished the following:
- Interacion, exchange of points of view and information, and team building between BSE and EVS faculty.
- Mutual training between BSE and EVS faculty. BSE faculty learned about ethical theory, practical and professional ethics and philosophy. EVS faculty learned more about the technical context of
many ethical issues. BSE faculty provided references for technical support to EVS faculty.
- Placed EVS and BSE training in UPRM into the Puerto Rican context.
- Case study identification and articulation for use in both BSE and EVS courses at UPRM.
- Identified and prepared case studies raising EVS issues in BSE practice for use in broarder Hispanic context.
