Project: The Child Security Alert Bracelet

Description:

Life Connection: The Child Security Alert Bracelet is a device that provides security for children. The Life Connection system is a product which aims to help this problem by providing a device by which parents, legal guardians, and caretakers can monitor the location and well-being of a child. This product in the form of a bracelet provides significant functional advantages over its market competition by not only allowing parents to monitor the location of their children at all times, but also monitoring the child’s pulse, ambient temperature (for location pinpointing), alongside a camera, and a microphone that can all be monitored from a mobile application or web interface. Any of these interfaces can notify the parents if tampering attempts have been made on the device to disable its operation. Life Connection is based on an ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller, GPS module, Assisted GPS through a GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) module, pulse, temperature and stretch sensors, camera, microphone, mobile application and web user interface for parents, and a central database for data storage. This product is intended to be used on a daily basis by parents, guardians, or caretakers, and children.
