Description:There are a lot of places where very high-end equipment is used and places where not just the equipment but also processes go on unattended that may need monitoring. Examples of these places are laboratories, hospitals and museums among others. For these and many other places we visualize a smart surveillance system that will be able to intelligently monitor an area of interest for surveillance of highly sensitive equipment prone to theft. The idea, Smart Surveillance Technology (SST), will allow the customer to live-monitor the environment via a web page interface, being able to connect from any device that uses Internet. The technology will alert the person whenever someone has entered the monitored area at a schedule not assigned to the system. SST will be able to alert with alarms, making a call or sending a text message via SMS. This will give the opportunity to the customer to make a quick decision on the situation. The system will also recognize, after teaching the system, when a device has been removed from its sight. The system will also recollect data from the environment such as the temperature. |
