As a dependancy of the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus, the nursing programs share the accreditation of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Many other dependencies in the university are accredited by different professional societies, far the Department of Nursing in particular, both nursing programs are accredited by the National League for Nursing.
